Monster genre

Hi! Just wondering, did you change the genre of Monster based on the protagonist's hearing? Because stupid and implausible as it is (ha), they did give an explanation for that which falls squarely within the realm of "natural". In any case, I wouldn't consider that alone to be enough to change the genre. If that's why you added it, can you please remove it? Or at least give some explanation, because I don't understand how the genre of that show is supernatural. :) --Zeamays (talk) 21:32, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

I'll just reply to you here again. It's fine that you wrote on my page though. I think we disagree on a couple of things, but mostly on what constitutes a supernatural drama. Personally, I would not label anything with the genre "supernatural" that doesn't fall within a fairly narrow range of things. I would suggest reading this article for some examples of the supernatural genre.

The other thing is that even if we would stretch the genre to include such things, I would only give a show a genre label if it's a substantial part of the story. An occasional instance of a character hearing things that should be out of range just doesn't cut it as far as I'm concerned. Especially since there is a mostly natural (again, implausible, but this is all fiction anyway) explanation (his hearing became more acute when he was blind).

Basically, when I see a show tagged "supernatural" I expect ghosts and things of that nature, and I suspect that's what other people would think too, so I don't want it to be misleading. People are looking for info on the show and they might get the wrong idea. I would still suggest that you remove supernatural from the list, but I'll leave it up to you for now. Perhaps if we had a more specific genre label for that type of thing (which is indeed really, really common in dramaland, haha), that would make more sense. Or if we added subgenres it might make some sense to have it listed there (maybe...but it's not something I would do unilaterally), but I don't agree with adding it as a genre as the show currently stands. --Zeamays (talk) 21:46, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

I saw Pinnochio use "fantasy" to describe super skill of the male lead. Should I use it? --Quockhanh318 (talk)
Yeah, that's a bit better, if it has to be there. ----Zeamays (talk) 14:21, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Police Unit 38 network

Could you please provide a source for the latest change you made to the Police Unit 38 page? I can't verify it since I can only find it on fansites. Do you have an article, from the original source? Wiki, daum, naver...all still say it's on OCN. A quick look just now makes it seem like the first episode or possibly a making special will air on both, but I can't seem to find anything that says that the entire series will. In the future, it would be a good habit to just link to the source if you think it's not easy to verify so the rest of us can find it. Thanks. --Zeamays (talk) 15:10, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Linking Back

Hi, i noticed that you are not linking back the drama page on artist page. I hope you are aware that editing on pages in dramawiki needs two-way-linking, otherwise its not complete. If you created a new drama page or add up cast members, please link back on actors/actresses page too. If the drama is verified to be the upcoming one, the cast should be confirmed as well unless its stated somewhere the cast is not confirmed so its better if the cast names should not be listed yet. Thank you.--Natokajun (talk) 13:55, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

I'm so sorry. Now on, I will do like you say.Quockhanh318 (talk)
Hey, no need to be sorry...its just a friendly reminder =] I think you did great job at adding info. Keep up the good work! --Natokajun (talk) 22:30, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

Age of Youth/name romanizations

Hi! Please remember to follow the name romanization preferences when adding cast. Please also remember to check and see if a page exists for the name you add, and verify if that is indeed the same person. If you don't know for sure, then they probably shouldn't be on the cast list yet (since you can't figure out who they are in the first place, and we don't want people incorrectly credited). I corrected romanizations for almost all of the names you added, and changed the names linking to existing pages to redlinks since I was unable to verify if any of them were the right people using the official site, daum, naver, and wiki. Pending further info, those can be changed to something more appropriate and specific (birth year, most likely, or back to the existing page, if that's correct after all). Just stuff to keep in mind :) --Zeamays (talk) 21:44, 4 August 2016 (UTC)

Trivias/Notes

Sorry to say this but some of infos from your edit lately the wordings really need to be revised because some of them are non-understandable. Also, i suggest not to put half pre-produced as the info in trivias/notes section because almost all kdramas here are half pre-produced if not pre-produced or live filming.--Natokajun (talk) 17:44, 1 April 2017 (UTC)

When you are putting the notes regarding initial actors/actress that were casted but not in the final casting list, please put it in nicer words. When you put it as declined, rejected or backed out, if you put along the reason eg other commitment/accident etc then it should be fine. If you just leave it without reason, it gives bad impression to the actors/actress for not taking up the drama. --Natokajun (talk) 01:50, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
I'm so sorry with all things I messed up. About the reject or decline, i think they're so normal for all actors / actress decline a drama so don't need to add a reason. We can't tell that they don't like this role or whatever. --Quockhanh318 (talk)
