- He used to smoke cigarettes in his college days he quit smoking for good when he finished college.
- He is a very good short track speed skater, in fact, he has won a lot of awards in sport meets and National Games in junior high school.
- He is also a competent soccer player being able to play in the Asia Dream Cup a few times in the past.
- He used to be shy and introvert as a child, his parents sent him to drama schools to take up acting classes for him to overcome his shyness and improve his social skills.
- Ironically, later his parents didn't want him to be an actor, but noticing his passion and effort in wanting to become an actor, they ended up accepting and letting him fulfill his dream of becoming an actor.
- He has reiterated on several occasions that his appearance has not been the result of plastic surgery and has also stated that he does not need it.
- His mother was fixated on having a girl, that's why she ended up tying his hair and whenever she could put it in a dress as a child.
