It first premiered in July 2013 on Shenzhen TV Station.
Filming took place in Shanghai.
Filming began on June 29, 2012 and ending September 22, 2012.
It is Yang Yang and Song Yi's second time working together since they previously worked on the drama The Dream of Red Mansions.
The story occured in the range time between Battle of Changsha and The Mystic Nine.
