July 2007 Come Sooner!

• Hanazakari no Kimitachi e - The original Hana Kimi. Rock it like only the Japanese know how!
• The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince - A friend talked me into it, but let's not forget Yoon Eun Hye needs a good role for once.
• Why Why Love - Mike He/Rainie Yang is intensity and laughter.

My K-Drama Trinity

• Sweet 18 - No one writes this sincere stuff anymore. NO ONE.
• My Girl - The Hong Sisters are gold--if only they wrote good endings.
• Couple of Fantasy - Premise = beautiful, execution = fell short. But I still have an inexplicable attachment to it.

My J-Drama Ventures

• Ichi Rittoru no Namida - Perfect. Just perfect.
• Taiyo no Uta - The chemistry will surprise you, as will your sudden tendency to start singing, "staaaaay wis' me!"
• Attention Please - Do they really say all that just to give you water?
• Nobuta wo Produce - Charmingly off color, strangely profound.
• Hana Yori Dango - I'm sorry, the hair didn't grow on me.

My T-Drama Fetishes

• Devil Beside You - Started somewhere, went everywhere, ended up nowhere.
• Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu - Started somewere, went everywhere, ended up nowhere. Something in the water in Taiwan?

And My Leftover K-drama Burnouts

• Delightful Girl Choon Hyang - Let's turn the hero into an accused rapist and call it a PLOT TWIST!
• Witch Amusement - Let's turn the hero into a whipped puppy and call it a PLOT TWIST!
• Hello! Miss - Where did the romance in romantic comedies go?
• Goong - Too bad the beautiful production had to rely on such shoddy writing.
• Over the Rainbow - Tell me again why I always liked Brian better.
• Autumn Tale - Families with too much love.
• Stairway to Heaven - Families with too little love.
• Love Story in Harvard - Dunt yo ned evidense ta sappot yol kayse?
