TV Show Poster

Hi there, i hope you could stop uploading unnecessary new version of tv show poster with individual cast poster. I think we prefered the poster which featured main cast composed of several people rather than individual cast poster. Unless if no other poster can be found, then individual poster is acceptable. Please read images guidelines on this page so that you have a brief idea what is dramawiki manual style. Also, please make use of preview and sandbox too. If you are uploading a new picture please refresh the browser first so that you can see the result and no need to reuploading or revert the pictures for many times. I agree with Natokajun on this subject. A show poster with at least both principal leads or all of the main cast members is preferable to an individual character poster. --FritzB (talk) 16:42, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

Changing Photo

Hello dear, may i know why did you keep changing the TV show poster? Especially for drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Are you some sort of testing the pictures or is there any other reason? Please stick to one photo only for the tv show poster because when you keep uploading the new pictures, they used up more database space in dramawiki. Regarding Ruler: Master of the Mask, if you found a better tv poster you can upload a new one (since you are not allowed to re-upload) but for your information any file name is not supposed to have symbol ":" or else it will become error and please dont change the name if you have no intention to upload any at the moment. --Natokajun (talk) 14:36, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

TV Ratings

Where are you getting your the KDrama TV ratings info that you are entering?

The two Korean TV rating agencies, TNmS and Nielsen Korea do not publish Seoul Metro ratings for shows that do not reach the daily Top 20. For the Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo/Episode Ratings, you are entering figures equal to the rating for the 20th ranked show for episodes, which did not rank in the daily Top 20. This is incorrect.

An Rating table entry of nr|8.2 is does not mean the show rated 8.2 for that episode; it means the show rating less than 8.2. It's actual rating is unknown, as its not published by the agencies.

Upcoming Drama

Hi, at this moment, there is NO definitive decision by SBS to picks "Woman of Dignity" for their 2017 lineup. The latest news, dated back in September, was a statement by SBS' official saying that they haven't even discuss anything yet with the production side:

Besides "Woman of Dignity", you also tried to wrote 2017-Mar for MBC's The King's Love premiere date, which is also unproven since the latest news only says it'll start sometime in 1st half of 2017.

Regarding Upcoming Drama section, since it's the "headline" page for people who want to skimmed through the list of titles and cast, so to avoid mislead the readers, please refrain to add anything that hasn't been verified by the news articles from official Korean news agencies, which you can find by browsing through Naver or Daum portal sites.

Good luck with that. I completely agree with you, but this user doesn't appear to be aware of this page and has not responded to any such requests from me or anyone else.

While I detect no malicious intent on his/her part, if the user's detrimental actions continue unabated, we may have to request that the admins block of this user. Unfortunate, but I don't know what else we can do.

Change in Date

Hi, I'm baffled as to why on earth you suddenly changed JTBC's Solomon's Perjury end date from 2017-Jan to Feb. Did you do the counting? It'll start on Dec 09 for 12 episodes, even IF there'll be once-twice delay in the airing period, it's still far away from Feb.

Also, you added Jan 07 for OCN's Voice premiere date on Upcoming Drama section, besides there's no news source for that info, Jan 07 is Saturday, there's very small chance a Fri-Sat drama like Voice will start in Sat. You probably think they're just small edits so why I'm bothering you, but it's just unnecessary. There are plenty of stuffs in more need for editing in DramaWiki so I encourage you for better contributions. Thanks. --Helena89 (talk) 10:47, 25 November 2016 (UTC)

Rating

Sorry to bother you again. But I just don't understand why you still made a mistake in editing such a simple matter as ratings. The drama you added the ratings, Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, it's even easier because it's high-rated, always Top 2 on the tables, you don't need to search anywhere else. Correct Hangul titles for upcoming KDramas

In recent months you have been entering a lot of new titles on the Upcoming KDrama page. While we appreciate your efforts, unfortunately the Hangul titles you have been entering for these dramas are nearly always wrong:

• All Kinds of Daughters-in-Law you entered: 딸의 모든 종류 (correct title: 별별 며느리)
• Duel you entered: 결투 (correct title: 듀얼)
• Circle you entered: 원 (correct title: 써클)
• Dasan Jung Yak Yong you entered: 다산 정용 (correct title: 다산 정약용)
• Radiant Office you entered: 빛나는 사무실 (correct title: 자체발광 오피스)
• Hong Chun Gi you entered: 홍춘기 (correct title: 홍천기)
• The King Loves you entered: 왕이 사랑 (correct title: 왕은 사랑한다)
• Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People you entered: 반역자 : 사람들을 훔친 도둑 (correct title: 역적: 백성을 훔친 도적)
• Whisper you entered: 속삭임 (correct title: 귓속말)
• Mother (tvN) you entered: 어머니 (correct title: 마더)

Your Hangul titles appear to be literal translations of the English titles, rather than the actual Korean titles. In the future, if you do not know the original Korean title for a new show, please just leave that info out; someone else (like me) will soon come along and track down the correct title. Entering incorrect information in DramaWiki benefits no one and detracts from the reputation of the site.

FYI: I suspect that you are getting your news about upcoming KDramas from the English language drama news sites like Soompi or Dramabeans. They don't usually give the original Hangul title in their articles; however, at the bottom of their articles, they nearly always give links to the original Korean drama news sites, where they got their info. The correct Hangul title for the new show will be given in those original articles, often in the headline (it will be in single quotes). If you are still unsure of the title, again, please just leave that info out. No info is better than the wrong info. Thanks! --FritzB (talk) 15:40, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

I suggest to bring this issue to admin. Maybe just ban for a period of time. I dont involved much on upcoming kdrama but i also feel frustrated when this user giving false info for hangul titles. Image with logo

Please use the Show Preview button when editing

I realize that this is a very trivial issue, but could you try to use the Show preview button when making page edits? The Show preview button allows you to see what your edit will look like before you click the Save edit button.
